Artificial Intelligence Summer Intensive 

Developed and Taught By Stanford, MIT, and Ivy League Alumni and Graduate Students

Rising grade 6 to grade 12 students

Students from rising 6-12th grades will learn the fundamental concepts of AI and gain a deeper understanding of how AI is used to build ChatGPT and generative AI, fight the COVID-19 pandemic, power self-driving cars, and more. Students will learn to program AI using Python, discuss ethics and bias within AI, and complete a group project applying AI to disciplines like healthcare, astronomy, finance, and more! No prior computer science experience is required to participate, and advanced cohorts are available. Separate middle and high school sections will be offered.

The program is offered at a cost of $1,500 for 31.5 hours of hands-on learning with AI practitioners and graduate students from Stanford and MIT who will travel to Indianapolis to teach this pre-college program. Who - Incoming grade 6 through grade 12 students are invited to participate in the intensive. This camp is open to all students in the Central Indiana area – it is not required to attend ISI in order to participate. 

When - Camp runs daily for two weeks, Monday, June 15th through Friday, June 26th, from 9 AM to 12:30 PM.
