child care & extended supervision
International School of Indiana provides quality before- and after-school care on each scheduled school day of the academic year, and child care is also available on some select days that school is not in session.
BEFORE AND AFTER CARE/EXTENDED SUPERVISION & FULL DAY CARE
Child Care Services (Lower School)
International School of Indiana offers a.m. and p.m. child care. ISI does not utilize drop-in services and so families must register for child care on a quarterly basis.
Parents will have the option to register their child for a.m. child care, p.m. child care, or both a.m. & p.m. child care. Each option will result in different prices, and a discount will be offered to parents who register their child for the entire semester or school year up front. Additionally, parents who choose to utilize child care services will have the option to sign up for full-day child care on select days where school is closed to facilitate professional development opportunities for faculty and staff. Please note that the minimum enrollment requirement for full day child care is 12 students. If minimum enrollment is not met, the service will be canceled and families will be notified.
The drop-off period for a.m. child care begins at 7:00 a.m. Families enrolled in p.m. child care must pick up their student by 6:00 p.m. Those with questions about Lower School Child Care Services may email Director of Child Care, Enrichment, and Summer Camp Sara Alghani at salghani@isind.org.
Extended Supervision Services (Upper School)
International School of Indiana offers a.m. and p.m. child care. ISI does not utilize drop-in services and so families must register for child care on a quarterly basis.
Parents will have the option to register their child for a.m. extended supervision, p.m. extended supervision, or both a.m. & p.m. extended supervision. Each option will result in different prices, and a discount will be offered to parents who register their child for the entire semester or school year up front. Please note that full day extended supervision services are not offered to Upper School students.
The drop-off period for a.m. extended supervision begins at 7:00 a.m. Grades 6 to 8 students should be dropped off at the Blackwell Building and grades 9 to 12 students should be dropped off at the Taurel Building. All Upper School families enrolled in p.m. extended supervision must pick up their student at the Blackwell Building by 6:00 p.m. Those with questions about Upper School Extended Supervision Services may contact Middle School Assistant Principal Dr. Aaron Mickens at amickens@isind.org.
