Does my child have to be registered for child care to attend enrichment classes?
Students are not required to be enrolled in child care to register for enrichment classes. If a class begins at or before 3:45 p.m, all enrichment participants will automatically go to child care and have a snack while they wait for their class to begin. If class begins later than 3:45 p.m., students not enrolled in child care will need to be picked up from school as normal and then dropped back off for their class. All students not enrolled in child care must be picked up exactly when their enrichment class ends. Families should pick students up at the main entrance of the Chen Building.
If your family requires child care services before or after their child's enrichment classes, registration and payment for child care is required. However, so that families may enjoy maximum flexibility, registration for child care occurs on a session by session basis. This allows families to register for the child care service (full time, 2 days a week, or 3 days a week) that best meets their needs. Visit the child care and extended supervision webpage for more information regarding offered services and pricing.
Can I register my child for all 4 sessions at once?
How does payment work for registration?
The cost of each enrichment class is determined by the number of classes offered during the session. Payment for enrichment classes is only accepted online using our enrichment program registration form. You must press the "submit payment" button after entering your credit card information to complete registration. All enrichment sessions will be paid on a session by session basis only.
Will refunds be available?
The cost of each enrichment class is determined by the number of classes offered during the session. Refunds will only be available in the instances of:
- A canceled or missed class due to a school sanctioned trip or instructor illness
- If a class is canceled, the instructor may provide a make-up lesson (lessons could be via Zoom, face-to-face, or take home projects). If an alternative to a cancelation is provided, a refund will not be given.
- A class no longer being offered due to lack of participation interest
No refunds will be given for missed classes due to student illness or inability to attend on a given day. Families may not drop classes after registering.
Additional questions may be sent via email to childcare@isind.org.
