ISI is a community of learners, of athletes and artists, of people discovering
who they are and figuring out what they love.
At ISI extraordinary opportunities happen every day, starting with our 3-year-old students
and continuing through the IB Diploma Program in grades 11 and 12.
Getting involved is an essential part of student life.
ISI students excel in the classroom, but also on the stage, with teams, and in the community. Our tradition of involvement in extra-curricular activities results in balanced students who appreciate the arts, participate in clubs, volunteer regularly, and are proud to display their #ISIPride. By the time students graduate, virtually all will have engaged in at least one club or activity—with most involved in many more.
Students are encouraged to explore new interests and develop their passions while learning the skills that will equip them to be leaders at school and in life. The safe, inclusive environment makes it a comfortable place to learn and take risks.
Athletics
At the International School of Indiana (ISI), we strive for balance in the lives of our students.
We believe that body, mind, and spirit work best when they’re working together.
So, we offer a wide range of athletic experiences for students in grades 5 to 12, and joining a team is as simple as attending the first scheduled practice.
arts
From performances to competitions and showcases, the arts are celebrated at ISI and play an essential role in creating the Midwest's most distinct academic experience.
Students across all grades participate in art and music classes, with expanded opportunities for clubs and extracurriculars, as well as drama and theatre, beginning at the Upper School. Lower School students may also participate in arts-based enrichment classes.
Clubs & Activities
ISI offers more than 40 clubs and extracurricular activities for students each year.
Opportunities that go beyond the classroom give each student an ISI experience that is uniquely theirs. With a student population as diverse, self-motivated, and engaged as ours, it is not surprising there’s so much to do. Students can participate in any combination of student activities, and are encouraged to join multiple clubs.
child care
Before and after school care is available to all ISI families on each scheduled school day of the academic year, and child care is also available on some select days that school is not in session.
Families are able to sign up for child care for a full year, by the semester, or quarterly.
enrichment
New after school enrichment programs are available at the Lower School quarterly. Enrichment classes cover a wide variety of subjects, including athletics, culture classes, STEM-based activities, arts programming, and outdoor activities.

dining services
The ISI lunch program is included in the price of tuition. Students never have to worry about packing lunch, and there is no worry about forgetting to send lunch money.
Typically, our students are offered a hot entree (vegetarian options available), a full salad bar, a deli counter, fresh fruit, and a made-from-scratch soup.
