What you need to know

  • ISI returned for in-person learning in August. Families who wished to opt-out of in-person learning completed a Request for Remote Learning form. Families are encouraged to review the impacts of their decision to opt into remote learning.
  • Any school closures will be based on public health and governmental guidelines.
  • The ISI Community should anticipate that the nature of the pandemic makes it probable that the delivery of curriculum during the 2020-2021 academic year will occur through a highly flexible mix of learning scenarios - in-person, remote, and online instruction - throughout the academic year. Review the first phase publication of our Return Itinerary to review the learning scenarios that may be utilized during the academic year.

policy review

ISI faculty and staff are asked to visit the Policy Hub page of this return plan and become familiar with the new policies launched to make our campuses COVID-ready.
More policy details, including responsibilities and management of implementation as well as relevant trainings, was shared during the in-service orientation week for faculty and staff the week before classes begin. Additionally, relevant materials are now posted to the Employee Portal of the ISI website and will continue to be posted as needed. The portal passkey was shared with the announcements of new materials being posted.

human resources

Changes to some faculty and staff support programs, including access to and fees for child care services, have been and will continue to be shared via email as well as posted to the Employee Portal. Faculty and staff members are encouraged to visit the portal at least once a week prior to reporting for the start of the academic year to access important information. Contact info@isind.org should you encounter trouble accessing the portal.
