The International School of Indiana re-opened its campuses in August 2020.

This page and the resources it links to are the leading resources for our school community as ISI leadership works to fulfill the institution's mission to deliver the midwest's most distinct academics amid the continued impact of the covid-19 pandemic.

ISI opened the 2020-2021 academic year under Scenario One as outlined in the first phase publication of our Return Itinerary.

Scenario One is defined as Traditional Learning where all students, faculty, and staff report to classrooms for in-person learning according to our school schedule and in alignment with social distancing guidelines throughout the school day. We understand that some families' risk-tolerance may leave them inclined to keep their students at home during a traditional learning period, and a remote learning option will be provided to all of our elementary, middle, and high school students who may elect to stay home due to health considerations.

All protocols outlined on this page and in the resources it links to are applicable to all ISI faculty, staff, students, and campus visitors.

Due to the unpredictable nature of the pandemic, ISI families are encouraged to closely review our Campus Illness Decision Matrix and operations status sheets to understand how changing conditions may impact operations and learning scenarios at any given time.

The Return Itinerary was developed to align with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Indiana Department of Education (IDE), Marion County Health Department, and other agencies' pandemic response guidance.
