ISI alumni have a proven track record of success in college and beyond. Armed with a rigorous academic foundation and a unique global perspective, ISI graduates are well-prepared to excel in prestigious universities worldwide. Beyond college, ISI alumni continue to distinguish themselves in various professional fields, leveraging their international education to navigate and lead in an increasingly globalized world. Their achievements in sectors such as business, medicine, law, technology, and the arts are a testament to the school's commitment to nurturing well-rounded, culturally competent individuals.
When I graduated, I felt well-prepared going into college. As a Chemistry major, I found that my Chemistry skills were better than my peers who took AP courses through high school. I was able to test at top levels throughout my college career, and felt like I was able to understand topics quickly. Many of the projects through the IB, like the Extended Essay, prepared me for writing papers in college.
ISI also exposed me to a lot more diversity than other Indiana schools would have, and coming from a rural area of the state, ISI was my first time interacting with many different groups. Now in the Navy doing nuclear engineering, I am interacting in close quarters with people from all over the country with diverse worldviews and perspectives.William Overhauser | Class of 2012

Kyle Kuzmic attended the International School of Indiana (ISI) from Pre-Kindergarten until he graduated in 2011.
After his time at ISI, Kyle continued his education at Indiana University Bloomington, double-majoring in Human Biology and French. After completing his undergraduate degrees in 2015 he continued his education at the IU School of Dentistry, completing his Doctorate in Dental Surgery and then at the Texas A&M College of Dentistry for his Certificate in Orthodontics and Master’s in Oral Biology.
Kyle credits his education at ISI for opening up doors for him in college and beyond, including using his French to study abroad in Aix-en-Provence for 6 months during college, and to embark on dental service trips to Haiti while in dental school

Margaret Schnabel began her time at the International School of Indiana (ISI) as a Grade 6 student, graduating in 2017.
After her time at ISI, Margaret went on to attend Indiana University as a Herman B Wells scholar, pursuing degrees in English and Cognitive Science. Afterward, she obtained her Master’s degree in World Literatures in English from the University of Oxford. Margaret is currently pursuing her PhD in English at Harvard University.
Margaret credits the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum taught at ISI for helping her gain skills in independent thinking and reflection, which she continues to use every day.

Madelyn Neal came to the International School of Indiana (ISI) in 2002 as a 3 year old in the French language track, staying until she graduated in 2017.
After her time at ISI, Madelyn was prepared to continue her academic career first at Miami University of Ohio for her undergraduate degree and accelerated Master’s degree, and is currently attending New York University for her Ph.D. in French. Madelyn credits the language learning programs at ISI for guiding the course of her life and future career, with future goals to become a French professor for university and graduate students.

From community service, to exchange trips, to daily interactions with teachers and peers, I was regularly confronted with the idea that the world is a complex, diverse place. As a result, I developed the tools to adapt to my surroundings and connect with people from all walks of life - whether that was a night out in Bloomington or interning on the Supreme Court of Ghana."
