About Coach Christy Go
Christy Go joins our boys volleyball program after finishing a successful season with our girls' teams in the fall, when varsity won sectionals for the second time in school history.
Through her years, Christy has coached 5th grade through high school, refereed, and played in competitive adult leagues in Chicago and Indianapolis. A Perry Meridian graduate, she played volleyball and ran track, and was a member of show choir and a variety of academic extracurriculars. At Purdue, she was a 4-year member of the volleyball club and ran tryouts, practices, and tournaments.
Christy strives to build not only physical but mental resiliency in her student athletes. She prioritizes respect for teammates, opponents, and referees. She teaches we can push ourselves, give ourselves room to make mistakes, then come back and try again. She believes we should all be students of volleyball, and there is always more to learn and improve. She believes that sport helps teach our student athletes important lessons on and off the court with teamwork, problem solving, and learning new skills.
She's thrilled to join the boys volleyball program and is looking forward to the spring season!
