The Parent Association (PA) of ISI is a cooperative organization of parents and families of students at the school. The PA strives to institute and sustain a close relationship between the parents, teachers, and students by evolving opportunities within the home, school, and community. All ISI families are members of the PA and are invited to attend PA meetings and participate in PA activities.
The PA promotes open communication between the administration, teachers, parents, and students. In an effort to improve these communications and to allow equal representation for all three of our buildings, the PA has representatives for each of our campus buildings.
This cooperative organization provides assistance to teachers within the classroom settings, raises funds for educational materials and experiences, advocates for school and family social interaction, brings together the community at annual events, and provides an unbiased forum for sharing information on issues that impact International School students.
Annual membership dues of $25 per child are billed with tuition. Dues help to pay for the many PA events ISI families enjoy, purchase winter holiday gifts for ISI faculty and staff, provide an annual faculty and staff brunch, and support the school’s fundraising priorities. All ISI families are encouraged to volunteer in some capacity for one or more of the PA events.
