ARCHIVED - Arts

Current and prospective ISI families should be aware that policies supporting our COVID-ready campuses
may supersede the descriptions of the programs and/or services described on this page.

From performances to competitions and showcases, the arts are celebrated at ISI
and play an essential role in creating the Midwest's most distinct academic experience.

In the Primary Years Program, students from age 3 to grade 5 participate in weekly music and visual arts classes. Students in the Middle Years and Diploma Programs from grades 6 to 12 can select courses in music (including band and choir), the visual arts, and theatre arts.

In addition, ISI offers many extra-curricular enrichment classes to complement students’ work in the arts. These include acting, chorus, dance, music and movement, private music lessons, pottery, scrapbooking, and sewing.
