Year of Giving

The Year of Giving returns as an opportunity for our community - current families, alumni families, faculty, staff, board of directors, grandparents, friends, community partners, and businesses - to join together to invest in our students, our facilities, our faculty, and our future.

Upcoming events

ISI Virtual Trivia Night - Friday, November 5

In collaboration with Hambone's Trivia, ISI families and alumni all over the world will once again go toe-to-toe to take home prizes and bragging rights. Hosted virtually, participants can join individually or choose to join a small team hosted by an ISI family at home. All ticket sales and sponsorships benefit ISI Annual Fund.

Previous Trivia Nights have brought out the competitiveness of the ISI community but also with a sense of fun. Will the reigning champions Parental Advisory Warning prevail again or will K Crew take the honors?

First Friday with Mimi Blue Meatballs - Friday, November 5

On First Friday we partner with a different local restaurant, eatery, or grocery to provide great meals for our ISI community at a great price. With proceeds benefiting ISI Annual Fund and ISI family businesses, First Fridays are a win-win!

“Mimi Blue Meatballs is a tribute to our mother “Mimi Blue” Kosene. She loved good food whether dining out or cooking for a hard-working husband and three sons. Every home-cooked meal had to satisfy the whole family, as well as any friends who often stopped by. Cooking was the way she brought us together, kept us healthy, and showed us Love.

At Mimi Blue, we make the kind of food Mimi cooked for us at home. Like Mimi herself, our meatball dishes are classics. Each recipe is rooted in culinary tradition, but refined for the modern palette.”

Annual Fund

Last year philanthropic support of the Annual Fund and COVID Emergency Response Fund meant ISI could implement important health and safety initiatives, improve technology to meet hybrid in person and virtual classrooms and meetings and aid in the continued recruitment of international teachers, making sure our students could keep learning throughout the year with limited interruptions.

Your philanthropic support of the ISI Annual Fund makes a difference in our day to day operations. By giving unrestricted gifts ISI can direct these funds where needed most for immediate impact, ensuring ISI remains agile and responsive, essential in this difficult time.

Completing your donation online takes just a few minutes.

ISI is a 501c3 organization. All contributions are tax deductible.

The construction taking place on our Michigan Rd campus is a tangible example of what philanthropic giving can do. The Chen Family Lower School is made possible by not only contributions of more than $1 million, but also by many $5 and $10 gifts. The ISI community should be justifiably proud we are collectively supporting the growth of our school.

Unifying the ISI community on a single campus is the realization of a dream and culmination of two-plus decades of work.

It’s not too late to get involved! Donors who have gifted a total of $2,500 or more to the ONE ISI Campaign by December 31, 2021 will be eligible to purchase pre-sales tickets to the 2022 Travel Auction.
