ISI connects languages, cultures, and people from every corner of the world.
ISI International Week serves as our Homecoming, a time to celebrate our past, present, and future,
and to share traditions and culture that represent our diverse and vibrant school community.

September 26 - 30

International Week began at ISI in 2019 and is a time to recognize and celebrate all of the cultures that make up the ISI community. The weeklong celebration begins on Tuesday, September 26 (no events are held on September 25 in observance of Yom Kippur) and the week culminates with an International Parade and Festival on Friday, September 29 and the Homecoming Dance on Saturday, September 30. Students, faculty, and staff walk together in a beautiful display of pride for their culture, carrying flags representing their nation and in attire that represents their home country. The parade is followed by a homecoming festival for the full school community. Athletic events throughout the week serve as homecoming games for both boys and girls sports, and Upper School students have a Homecoming Dance.
