Teacher Appreciation Week, a celebration of our entire team
May 8 to 12 is National Teacher Appreciation Week. At ISI, we extend our celebration to our entire faculty and staff, as it is the collective effort of our entire team that makes our school so special! ISI Parent volunteers will work on behalf of all parents to be sure that faculty and staff receive a surprise each day of the week.
Families can participate by volunteering, selecting an item to contribute, or by making a monetary contribution that will be put towards purchasing special treats and gifts, and decorations. Volunteers will help to assemble all the donated and purchased items, to decorate, and deliver gifts throughout the week.
The following outlines the appreciation activities planned for the week:
Friday (May 5): Special Employee Lunch Provided by the ISI Parent Association
The festivities will kick off early with a special lunch hosted by the ISI Parent Association on Friday, May 5!
Monday (May 8): Treat Cart
Parent volunteers will travel the halls of each building with a treat cart stocked with donated snacks and drinks for faculty and staff to select from.
Tuesday (May 9): Surprise Gift to Faculty & Staff
Parents will help deliver a personalized surprise from the school for each ISI employee!
Wednesday (May 10): Fun Supplies Cart
Useful gifts are always appreciated, and faculty and staff will have the opportunity to pick from a cart of Fun Supplies that can enhance their classroom or workspace!
Thursday (May 11): Treat Yourself Tote
A special bag filled with items to help faculty and staff relax will be presented by parent volunteers to each staff member.
Friday (May 12): Gift Card Giveaway
Parent volunteers will give faculty and staff the opportunity to pick a number and receive a corresponding gift card.
ISI parents generously thank faculty throughout the year, and this year’s Teacher Appreciation Week activities have been organized to allow parents to collaborate across grade levels and language tracks to ensure that every member of the ISI team is equally recognized for their contributions throughout the year!
