Trivia Night 2024 Recap

ISI Community Members Enjoy an Exciting and Competitive Night of Trivia, Costumes, and Camaraderie in Support of the ISI Annual Fund

On Friday, October 18, ISI hosted its Trivia Night fundraiser, bringing together a lively crowd of ISI families, staff, past and current board members, alumni, and their families. For the second year, ISI hosted the event at Half Liter, where over 120 enthusiastic community members gathered to battle it out in a night filled with competition, fun, and ISI pride–all to support the ISI Annual Fund.

Chaired by Lower School parents Lindsay and Jack Donaldson, guests brought their A-game at this year's Trivia Night. Teams put their brains to the test with six rounds of trivia, including music and picture rounds - and a secret solo round competition!

But the fun didn’t stop there! Trivia goers embraced their creative sides by choosing a team theme, dressing in costumes, and decorating their tables for a shot at prizes. The themes were as varied as they were imaginative, ranging from iconic decades to pop culture characters.

Thank you to this year’s teams:

  • The Cereal Killers
  • The Happiest Team on Earth
  • Beer Pressure
  • Secretly Googling
  • Gryphon Families
  • Brain Dead

And a big congratulations to the 2024 Trivia Night champions!

The ISI community's collective enthusiasm made this year’s event a success. This was the school’s second year hosting the event in person, and nearly $9,000 was raised for the ISI Annual Fund, an increase from last year. ISI is already looking ahead and planning for next year's Trivia Night, aiming to continually grow the event and increase its philanthropic impact.

If you couldn’t attend Trivia Night, there are still opportunities to support the ISI Annual Fund through the remaining 2024-2025 fundraisers, Slide-A-Thon, and International Gala. Stay tuned for more information about these events and the International School of Indiana 30th Anniversary Celebration!

Season Recap: Middle School Track & Field

The Middle School Track & Field team had an incredibly rewarding season. From the very beginning, one of the primary goals was to build a close-knit group of athletes capable of competing at a high level in both the PAAC and IISL. More importantly, the coaching staff sought to create a team culture built on support, hard work, and shared success. The athletes embraced that vision and did an outstanding job fostering a positive and competitive environment throughout the season.

After entering the season with a young and relatively inexperienced roster, the ISI Gryphons Girls Varsity Tennis team focused on growth, consistency, and building a strong team culture.

As the season came to a close, the Gryphons reflected on a year defined by more than standings and scores. “This season was defined not only by results, but by the friendships, growth, and memories our team created together,” Bougher said. The team's commitment to one another, combined with their on-court development, made the 2026 season one to remember.
