Season Recap: Middle School Tennis

The Middle School Tennis Team has wrapped up another memorable season marked by growth, teamwork, and determination. With many players who already had tennis experience, the team was able to focus on honing their skills. Under the guidance of Coach Alfredo Valerio, the players tackled four key goals: mastering racquet handling and footwork, giving their best and playing as a team, learning net volleys and court positioning, and perfecting their serves.

Despite the challenge of preparing students with varying skill levels in a short time, Coach Valerio was proud of the team's progress. "The biggest achievement was every student's performance. Every student did their best on the court, played as a team, and gave their all during practice," he shared.

Parents played a pivotal role, offering unwavering support by providing transportation, snacks, and encouragement throughout the season. "They were rock stars," Coach Valerio emphasized.

Grade 8 player Paxton Hope reflected on the season, sharing, "My main goal was to have fun and improve my tennis game. I want to continue to improve my skills during the off-season. My biggest challenge this season was improving my serve."

As the season concludes, the team celebrates not only their achievements on the court but also the bonds formed through teamwork and shared effort. Here’s to an even stronger season next year!
