Season Recap: Grade 8 Volleyball

The Grade 8 Volleyball team wrapped up a season full of growth, teamwork, and memorable moments. From learning how to stay positive in tough games to celebrating big wins, the players showed determination and progress from start to finish.

“My biggest goals coming into the volleyball season were to always be encouraging to the team and try my hardest no matter the circumstance,” said Grade 8 student Anabel Kim. “The biggest challenge this season was not being discouraged when we lost games. However, I learned that mistakes are important to improve in the future.”

The team focused not just on individual improvement, but on building a strong team culture. “My biggest accomplishment was becoming a better player and teammate,” said Grade 8 player Magdelan Aguilera. “I really want to say that my team had a good season with everyone working together.”

One of the highlights of the season came as the team celebrated their first win. “My favorite memory of the season was winning our first game - I was so excited!” said Nadia Shannon.

With a foundation of support, effort, and enthusiasm, the Grade 8 Volleyball team has plenty to be proud of and even more to look forward to in the seasons ahead.
