Golf Outing 2025 Recap

ISI community members participate in the third annual ISI Golf Outing in support of the ISI Athletics Program

The energy was high, the weather was beautiful, and the competition was fierce as nearly 100 golfers teed off at the Broadmoor Country Club on September 9 for International School of Indiana's third annual Golf Outing! Current and alumni ISI families, ISI coaches, and friends of the school came together for a day packed with friendly rivalry, great camaraderie, and, most importantly, to raise funds for the Gryphon Athletics Program.

Golfers interacted with each other and ISI student athletes before enjoying a shotgun-start golf scramble, as well as the Longest Drive, Putting, and Closest to the Pin competitions. Alongside the excitement on the green, golfers had the chance to gear up with the latest Gryphon Athletics swag, adding an extra layer of school pride to the day.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of participants and sponsors of this year’s Golf Outing and full-year athletics sponsors, more than $35,000 was raised for ISI Athletics. While most fundraising dollars go into the Athletics general fund, giving ISI the flexibility to make key purchases when they’re needed, part of what is raised at the Golf Outing and through our newly introduced full-year sponsorship opportunities is dedicated to larger projects that take the Gryphon Athletics program and our student-athletes’ experience to the next level.

Thanks to the success of this year’s Athletics fundraising, ISI will proceed with exciting projects, including:

  • New branded Gym Wall Pads in Blackwell
  • Warm-Up Tee Shirts for each ISI Athletics Participating Student
  • New Custom-Branded Chair Toppers for Sideline Seating
  • Enhanced Athletics Branding: Step and repeat banner and tablecloth for college signings and other athletics media needs
  • Additional Sideline Shade for Outdoor Sporting Events

Thank you to all ISI Athletics supporters, and special thanks to the full-year sponsors who joined this program in its inaugural year. Full-year sponsors will be proudly highlighted across campus, both on signage and on the apparel worn by our student-athletes throughout the school year.

The ISI Athletics Program includes more than twenty teams made up of students in grades 5 through 12. Recent additions to the program include boys volleyball, wrestling, and a dance team. There are still many opportunities to support ISI Athletics! You can donate at any time using our online form—just select the Athletics box to support our Gryphon Athletes. You can also support our athletes by attending a game, following Gryphon Athletics on Instagram, or ordering Gyphon Gear as a way to display your support of our teams.

Congratulations to our Golf Outing winners!
Winning Team: Eric Griffith & Jared Byczko Team
Closest to the Pin: Jack Morrissey & James Boone
Longest Drive: Eddie Sinitsky & Kim Vanarsdale

Thank You to our sponsors!

Season Recap: Middle School Track & Field

The Middle School Track & Field team had an incredibly rewarding season. From the very beginning, one of the primary goals was to build a close-knit group of athletes capable of competing at a high level in both the PAAC and IISL. More importantly, the coaching staff sought to create a team culture built on support, hard work, and shared success. The athletes embraced that vision and did an outstanding job fostering a positive and competitive environment throughout the season.

After entering the season with a young and relatively inexperienced roster, the ISI Gryphons Girls Varsity Tennis team focused on growth, consistency, and building a strong team culture.

As the season came to a close, the Gryphons reflected on a year defined by more than standings and scores. “This season was defined not only by results, but by the friendships, growth, and memories our team created together,” Bougher said. The team's commitment to one another, combined with their on-court development, made the 2026 season one to remember.
