Golf Outing 2024 Recap

ISI community members participate in the second annual ISI Golf Outing and surpass the previous fundraising total

The energy was high, and the competition was fierce as nearly 100 golfers teed off at the beautiful Broadmoor Country Club on August 26 for ISI's second annual Golf Outing! Current and alumni ISI families, employees, and friends came together for a day packed with friendly rivalry, great camaraderie, and, most importantly, to raise funds for the Gryphon Athletics Program.

Golfers enjoyed a shotgun-start golf scramble, as well as the Longest Drive, Putting, and Closest to the Pin competitions. Alongside the excitement on the green, golfers had the chance to gear up with the latest Gryphon Athletics swag, adding an extra layer of school pride to the day.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of participants and sponsors, this year’s event surpassed last year’s total, raising over $31,000! These funds directly support facility and equipment upgrades, helping to elevate our athletics program to new heights. As the cost of running the ISI Athletics Program is not covered entirely by athletics fees, philanthropic support is a critical component of continual program growth.

The ISI Athletics Program includes more than twenty teams made up of students in grades 5 through 12. Recent additions to the program include boys volleyball, wrestling, and a dance team. If you missed the fun this year, there’s still time to make an impact. You can donate any time using our online form—just select the Athletics box to support our Gryphons!

Congratulations to our winners!

Winning Team: Old National Bank Team
Closest to the Pin: Deven Trueblood, Chris Waters
Longest Drive: Alex Overway, Kelly Steele-Hughes
