BusinessManagement

Last week, a group of our Grade 11 and 12 DP Business Management students had an unforgettable experience at a networking event hosted by the Indiana Pacers! They connected 1-on-1 with top Indianapolis sports executives, gaining insider insights into the dynamic world of sports business. Huge thanks to the Pacers and TeamWork Online for making this incredible opportunity possible!

DP students (Grade 11 and 12) are able to take Business Management. The two-year course examines business functions, decision-making, and management processes in uncertain contexts. It explores internal and external influences on decisions, their stakeholder impact, and organizational interactions, with a focus on ethics and sustainability.

Students gain knowledge of business theories and tools, analyzing activities locally and globally. The curriculum covers strategic decision-making and key functions like human resources, finance, marketing, and operations within diverse socio-economic contexts. Centered on creativity, change, ethics, and sustainability, the course fosters critical thinking, ethical decision-making, and strategic planning. It prepares students with skills for today’s dynamic, socially responsible business landscape.
