9/22 | Middle School Tennis vs Indianapolis West Christian | 5-0
All the varsity matches won and a lot of the JV players won their match as well. It was by far the best match of the season for us. Everyone played very competitive matches.

9/22 | Boys Varsity Soccer vs Indiana Math & Science Academy | 1-2
Another game, another opportunity to learn and grow. We'll take what we can from this one, reflect on the things we can do better, and use the experience to keep improving. The season continues, and we'll get back to work, stay focused, and keep pushing forward together.

9/22 | Grade 5/6 Soccer vs Mooresville Christian Academy | 2-5
ISI players are improving in terms of passing upfront, there is chemistry when they are playing upfront with passes and combinations from the front players. Maddox had a great game with some great touches and shots on target. Dominic was aggressive in winning the ball from the opposition and was running the entire game to create chances for his team mates. Juan Pablo never stops running in midfield. Jose was also in defense with some amazing clearance off the line and tackles made in defense. Quincy was in goal and made some amazing saves. Kian, Aubry and Kinley all were super subs that came in to play as left backs and right backs and prevented us from conceding more goals.

9/22 | Grade 7/8 Soccer vs Mooresville Christian Academy | 5-1
We played our most physical game yet, but the team showed amazing grit, steadfastness, and focus today. A special shoutout to our defensive unit today: Diego Tori for chasing down through balls, Dylan Masuda for winning balls from the air, Henry Lemoine for absolutely flawless defending and passing, and Ronnie Pitman for shutting down their best player all game. Zach Aikins and Ben Fischer contributed from the goalie position with key saves, and though we went down 0-1 early we rallied back with a goal from Zameer Kaushik off a corner kick, and then Leivy proceeded to clean up the rest of the scoring sheet with 4 goals to earn another man-of-the-match: a penalty kick, two goals assisted by Liam Wust-Head, and then a final solo effort. This was a total team win against a tough opponent and some hard play, very pleased and proud of the tenacity the Gryphons showed today!

9/23 | Grade 5/6 Soccer vs Park Tudor | 1-4
ISI showed early attacking pressure, with strong combinations, shots on target, and an early goal from Hannah, assisted by Dominic. Leo had a strong game with several impressive dribbles and tackles, while Grayson returned and made some excellent first touches in the box. Julian also made his debut at RB, applying pressure down the flank with strong running and tackling.

The opposition quickly equalized, and the first half ended 1–1. ISI’s intensity dropped in the second half as the players tired. Moving forward, the team will continue working on strength, defending, and finishing. Overall, there were many positive moments and a strong team effort.

9/23 | Grade 7/8 Soccer vs Park Tudor | 1-3
The Gryphons suffered their first loss of the season, falling 3-1 to Park Tudor. Despite facing a bigger, faster team with more players, ISI kept the match competitive. Zach Aikins came up with a huge penalty save in the first half and earned Man of the Match honors, while he and Ben Fischer combined for 13 big saves. Sam Wade scored ISI’s lone goal with a left-footed strike late in the match. The Gryphons will use the experience to prepare for tough competition in tournament play next week.

9/23 | Grade 5/6 B Team Volleyball vs St Richards | 25-20, 25-17
Congratulations to our B Volleyball team on their first win of the season after several close matches! The ladies did a great job serving and returning the ball, taking smart risks and playing with confidence. They should be proud of the effort and teamwork they showed throughout the match!

9/24 | Boys Varsity Soccer vs Mooresville Christian Academy | 1-4
Yesterday's game against Mooresville Christian Academy gave us a great opportunity to get many of our younger players and players who had not seen much playing time this season on the field. Despite the 4-1 result, several of them stepped up, showed confidence, and gave us a good look at what they can bring to the team. It was encouraging to see their effort and development, and these players showed that they are ready to contribute when given the opportunity.

9/25 | Grade 5/6 B Team Volleyball vs P.A.L. | 16-25, 25-19, 15-8
The ladies ended their regular season with a win! Their communication to one another was spot on. They went after the ball with no hesitation.
