admissions roadmap steps

You are here! You've already completed step one. Continue reading to understand how to navigate the rest of our admissions roadmap!

2. Information Session or Personal Tour

INFORMATION SESSIONS
Our answer to the traditional Open House, ISI Information Sessions occur almost monthly and feature a 90-minute program that includes Admissions team members, faculty and staff, students, and parents. Each session concludes with a walking tour of campus.

PERSONAL TOURS
Offered for those whose schedules prevent them from attending an ISI Information Session, personal tours of our campus are available by request. With an ISI Admissions Director leading the way, tours are conducted for a single family or for a small group of families that have requested a similar tour time.

*Due to COVID-19 restrictions, personal tours are currently suspended, but families can schedule a personal virtual meeting with a member of our admissions team.

3. Application and Checklist

We manage student applications through our preferred software, Open Apply.

It's important that applicant families remember to review and submit the checklist items included as a part of the application form. Required checklist items will vary depending on the applicant's grade level.

4. Pre-Entry Visits & Shadow Days

This compulsory step in our admissions process happens after your ISI application and checklist items have accepted by the school. These visits are an important step as members of our faculty, staff, and student body help new-student applicants assess deavelopmental and social fit with our community and its culture.

5. Admissions Decisions Announcement

There are a few important deadlines to keep in mind regarding how and when we'll welcome our new Gryphons!
