Head of School Transition

The Board of Directors of the International School of Indiana (ISI) is pleased to announce Elizabeth Head as the third Head of School and first female head in the school's 25-year history.

"We are pleased to introduce Elizabeth Head to the International School of Indiana and central Indiana communities,” Board Chair Scott Weaver said. “Raised in Colorado, but bringing more than 20 years of international experience and bilingual leadership, Elizabeth will help us to unify our campuses, continue our strong academics and take our school into its new chapter after 25 years and build our school for the next 25.”

Head, currently General Director of the Pan-American School (Costa Rica), will assume her new duties at the International School of Indiana on January 2, 2019. She will be joined in Indianapolis by her children, Emma (age 8) and Liam (age 5); who will both participate in the Lower School Spanish track.

Until Head’s arrival, Craig P. Anderson will continue to lead all school activities as Interim Head of School as previously announced in the Interim Leadership Plan released in June 2018.
