ISI is headquartered on a 60-acre campus located in the near northwest corner of Indianapolis on Michigan Road along the White River.
With the launch of the ONE ISI Capital Campaign in the fall of 2019, ISI took the first step toward unifying its community on the Michigan Road property with the construction of the new Chen Family Lower School. As of August 2022, all ISI buildings are located on the Michigan Road campus.
We are expanding and enhancing our Athletics and Upper School Facilities! ONE Future, a $14 million campaign, is underway with the first phase of construction beginning in 2026.
Tour the Chen Family Lower School
The state-of-the-art Chen Family Lower School opened in 2022 to serve our students age 3 to grade 5. Campus facilities include a playground, a padded outdoor game field, a working garden and greenhouse, STEM and computer labs, a library, an art studio, a Makers Space, the Daneri Family Gymnasium, and the Weems Family Stage.
Tour the Upper School
Upper School students Grades 6 to 12 attend classes in the Kathryn and Sidney Taurel Building for high school and Henry R. Blackwell Building for middle school. The Taurel Building houses all Upper School art classes, including the black box performance theatre. See below for more information about Upper School athletics facilities.
