4 Reasons to Give to the Annual Fund Campaign

Posted by

On October 1, International School of Indiana launched the 2018-2019 GryFund Campaign. The GryFund is ISI’s annual fund campaign, a tax-deductible opportunity for parents, alumni, grandparents, faculty, staff, board members and friends of ISI to support the resources and programs that are essential to our students’ success. That is why a contribution to the Annual Fund is the first and most important gift we ask of every member of the ISI community. All gifts made without restriction to ISI through June 30, 2019 advance the GryFund Campaign.

On this 4th day of our Annual Fund Campaign, we offer 4 reasons to give:

      1. Every Gift Matters!
Whether you are able to give $100 or $1,000, you are making a difference when you make a philanthropic gift to ISI. 100% of the Board of Directors and the school’s administration have participated in the 2018-2019 GryFund Campaign, and commitments from our faculty and staff total more than $11,000. Measurable participation from ISI parents and alumni is crucial as we seek funding from outside sources because it demonstrates that those who know our school best believe it is should be a philanthropic priority. Your gift, no matter the size, helps us reach our goal of demonstrating that we are a community in which everyone participates in philanthropic giving.
      2. Giving Strengthens our School
Philanthropy is key to strengthening a school. At ISI our greatest funding priority is securing the financial resources necessary to build a new lower school facility and enhance our Michigan Road campus. Philanthropic dollars are what make it possible to renovate and build facilities, and facilities have the ability to give ISI a competitive advantage in recruiting and retaining both students and faculty.
      3. Giving Introduces our Students to the importance of generosity
Sharing the experience of philanthropic giving with students shows them from an early age that they can make a positive difference. When our students see our community investing in ISI through charitable giving, they are learning how to cultivate community in the classroom and beyond by engaging their head and heart.
      4. ISI Pride
If you believe in ISI and the type of education made possible here, we want you to be a strong ambassador of the school. Donating is one way to demonstrate your pride in ISI and to support the mission to provide our students with a world-class education that prepares them to be responsible citizens and effective leaders in a rapidly globalizing and interdependent world.

As ISI celebrates its 25th Anniversary Year, it is with tremendous pride as well as gratitude to our community for their continued commitment to the School. What we achieve together far surpasses what we could ever consider accomplishing alone. When Gryphons Give, we make it possible for students and our entire institution to be ready for the world stage.
