- All cash or securities contributions to ISI, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please consult your tax advisor for additional information.

Gifts of Appreciated Securities
Gifts of appreciated securities represent a two-fold savings opportunity. Donors avoid paying capital gains taxes on the increased values of their stocks. In addition, donors receive a tax deduction for the full market value of the stock on the date of the gift. Please use the securities transfer form available below. (link to Securities Transfer Form)
Pledges
Pledges are welcome; however, ISI will only count the cash received during the July 1, 2009 - June 30, 2010 fiscal year for publication in the 2009-2010 Annual Report.
Matching Gifts
Many employers multiply donors' support through matching gift programs. In some cases, companies will match contributions from spouses, directors and retired employees. These programs are a great way to double, possibly even triple, the size of your gift. Please contact your company's Personnel Director or Matching Gifts Coordinator and include the matching gift form with your gift.
Memorial and Honorary Gifts
A gift in memory of a deceased individual or in honor of a loved one is an especially meaningful way to contribute. We will inform the family that a memorial or honorary gift has been made.
Acknowledging Your Contributions
To fully acknowledge the valuable - and often times multiple - contributions our supporters make, we combine all of our donors' contributions and purchases, to either the Annual Fund or a Special Event, made between July 1 and June 30 of each year.
Using the following formula, we calculate each donor's total Year End giving:
- Gifts of cash or securities
- Matching gifts from employers
- Special event item purchases (less the fair market value)
- Special event sponsors (less any goods or services received)
- Equals Total Annual Contribution
