Frequently Asked Questions

How does my child benefit when we donate money to THE International School of Indiana?

It is charitable donations that help make ISI a great school! Contributions help underwrite the expenses for teacher training, technology upgrades, financial aid scholarships, and improvements to the classrooms. These activities benefit your child tremendously, but are only possible through the generosity of our families.

Is the concept of giving unique to ISI?

No. Independent schools in the United States rely upon the generosity of their constituents to enhance their students' educational experiences. In the United States, local and federal tax dollars do not provide subsidies to independent schools.

Are donations to ISI tax deductible?

All cash or securities contributions to ISI, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please consult your tax advisor for additional information.

Can I designate how my contribution is used?

Yes.  Please contact the ISI Office of Development at +1.317.923.1951 or development@isind.org for further information.
