Pre-Elementary: 3-Year-Old - Kindergarten

Application Checklist:

Pre-Entry Visit

  • The Pre-Entry Visit is an important part of the application process for children 3 years old through to Grade 1.
  • The children will join a small class of other applicants and our faculty will assess them based on social, cognitive and fine/gross motor skills as appropriate for the grade in which they are applying.
  • The children are assessed individually as well by observing how they interact with the other children within the group.
  • All Pre-Entry visits will be conducted in English, unless you request the assessment to be in French, Spanish or Mandarin when you are scheduling the visit.
  • All Pre-Entry Visits will be held at the ISI Lower School campus:  200 West 49th Street, Indianapolis, IN  46208

Please contact Sarah Harrison or Kate Lock in the ISI Admissions Office at +1.317.923.1951 or admissions@isind.org to schedule your visit.

School Report Card and Letter of Recommendation

  • These will be accepted in support of an application for students relocating to Indianapolis who are unable to attend a Pre-Entry visit.

School Tours
